Keacy Carty is a middle-order batter who is an occasional medium-pace bowler. He was born in Sint Marteen and was the first player from there to have played cricket for West Indies at any level. He began playing professional cricket for Leeward Island at the Under-19 level in 2013 at the age of 16 and made his List-A debut for West Indies A in the 2014/15 Regional Super50 Cup.

Keacy was named in the West Indies Under-19 squad for the World Cup in 2016. He put on an impressive performance in the final against India, getting the Player of the Final award by scoring 52 runs, and helped his team clinch the title that year.

Owing to his noteworthy show, Carty made his debut for Leeward Island in the senior squad in February 2016 and scored his maiden fifty in the second innings of the match. He continues his impactful act in the domestic circuit. After six years of making his domestic debut, he was finally rewarded with his ODI cap in 2022 against the Netherlands.
